Hygiene is the main ingredient in the food safety and needs a professional awareness. By using simple kitchen hygiene rules the risk of contamination can be reduced. In our special designed traineeship participants, will learn the different cleaning habits and furthermore, students will get detailed know-how about hygiene rules and food safety.

Several learning outcomes will be provided for students:

  • Preventing spoilage of foodstuffs
  • Ability to take precautions against physical factors causing food poisoning
  • To be able to take precautions against chemical factors causing food poisoning
  • To be able to take precautions against biological factors causing food poisoning
  • Ability to cook and cool foods in accordance with hygiene principles
  • Serving and storing food according to hygiene principles
  • To provide hygiene of environment and equipment in food production facility
  • To be able to discharge and treat wastes in food production facility according to hygiene rules
  • Ability to take precautions against food contamination
  • Ability to use disinfectants for sterilization processes

The program will take place in Vienna.
