CETI Team travelled to Poland to meet our partners and discuss the implementation of our joint project “Montessori Method in Teaching 2nd Language to Adults”. The participants spent two days, 20-21.9.2021 planning the upcoming activities and presenting the already achieved results. The principal goal of the project is to explore the potential of the Montessori teaching methods in the education for adults and to apply it primarily in the language classes for refugees and immigrants. By using a natural, communicative approach, the integration of the people with refugee and immigrant background into the host community would be made easier, but the successful development of the method could have a much wider application. All partners conducted research in their own countries and together they summarized the findings in a joint handbook entitled Guide for the application of the Montessori method to teaching 2nd language in adult education.
