STEM and STEAM Education – European Institute

European Institute

STEM is the abbreviation for science, technology, engineering and math. On the other hand, STEAM represents STEM plus the arts. In education, there is a great need for these topics. Both are an educational curriculum and have the aim to teach those subjects collectively instead of reaching each subject separately. Common STEM or STEAM projects include basic computer programming trainings.

In this course, the students learn about the following topics:

Concept of STEM and STEAM
STEM vs. STEAM
Applications of STEM and STEAM in Europe
Scientific literacy
Critical thinking in STEM and STEAM education
Project and programming related education
